Farrell graduated from Warren County Technical School in 1976.
He was a plumber, having worked for Bernard Durnin Plumbing, Phillipsburg, and last worked at the Edna Mahon Correctional Facility for Women, Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ for more than 20 years until December, 2014.
He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
He was a member of the Italian American Pleasure Club, Phillipsburg; the Order of Fleas and the Citizen's Hose Co., both in Easton, PA.
In addition to his mother, Farrell is survived by two brothers, Bodie of Clearwater, Florida and CD and his wife, Yvonne of Harmony Township, NJ; a sister, Tonie Chicchi of Forks Township; two nephews, Connor Holjes and Jarrod Chicchi; three nieces, Drew and Jordyn Holjes and Devon Chicchi; and his companion, Susan Lance, of Phillipsburg.
Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2015 in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, in the church, 426 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. Entombment will be in the parish mausoleum, Greenwich Township, NJ.
