Forrest G. Crouse, 62, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, April 6, 2017 in St Lukes Warren Hospital.
Born July 9, 1954 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late James A. Crouse, Sr. and Georgia Kutsopias Crouse.
He grew up a farm boy and lived most of his life in Bloomsbury, NJ in his childhood home. He was known by many as "Big Guy." He enjoyed visiting people and socializing over coffee. He spent time almost every day with his best friend Harry Zikas at Harry's Deli in Alpha, NJ and frequented Alpha Family Restaurant.
He loved the Oakland Raiders and off track betting on horse races. Visiting any casino was always a good time for him. He lovingly called everyone "Bill" no matter what their name.
Survivors include a daughter, Melanie Maietti of Freemansburg, PA; a brother, James A. Crouse, Jr. of Bethlehem, PA; a sister, Georgia J. Pilz and her husband William of Wilson Borough, PA and three grandsons, Adam and James Spieles and Anthony Maietti. Nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Thursday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Services will begin at 5:30 p.m.
