Frank W. Markle, Sr, 60, of East Bangor, Pa, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Saturday, October 5, 2013 in St. Luke's Hospital - Warren Campus, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born April 15, 1953, he was a son of Margaret "Peg" (Cutsler) Markle, of Phillipsburg and the late Richard Markle, Sr.
Frank was a supervisor at McGinley Mills, Phillipsburg, for many years. He then worked at New York Life in Lebanon, NJ as a security supervisor and last worked at St. Luke's Hospital - Warren Campus, Phillipsburg, NJ as a security guard.
Frank was an exempt member and former trustee of the Lincoln Engine Fire Company, Phillipsburg, and a former member of the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad.
In addition to his mother, Frank is survived by his wife of 12 years, the former Linda Ricco; a brother, Richard Markle, Jr. and his wife, Edna, of Phillipsburg; a sister, Fran Bottos and her finance, John Terlinden, of Phillipsburg; four step-daughters, Elizabeth and Emily Ricco and Kimberly and Kathleen Rojas, and many nieces and nephews. A son, Frank W., Jr. and a sister, Kathleen, both died earlier.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
