Harold William “Bill” Grover, 70, of Lopatcong Township, NJ died October 18, 2019 after a short illness in Jeanes Hospital, Philadelphia, PA
Born December 2, 1948 in Newton NJ, he is a son of the late Harold W. and Dorothy A. (Bellis) Grover.
Bill retired in August 2011 as a mechanic specialist in the maintenance department of Thomas & Betts Elastimold in Hackettstown NJ, and enjoyed spending his retirement with his children and grandchildren, especially their many trips to Wildwood and Cape May NJ.
Survivors include his three sons Michael (Dana), David (Denise), and Theodore (Jessica); 3 brothers, Russell, Edward and Dale; a sister, Carol Hall; six grandchildren, Brooke, Matthew, Joshua, Derrick, Taylor, and Emily, and his former wife and life-long companion, Susan (Barnes) Grover.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 24, 2019 in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg NJ. www.noto-wynkoop.com. Services will begin at 7:30 in the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations towards a memorial bench in North Wildwood, N.J. where his children and grandchildren can rest with his memory when they visit Bill’s favorite place. Checks payable to Theodore Grover, may be sent in care of the funeral home.
