Helen Haring Obituary
Helen Mae Haring, 81, of Lower Mt. Bethel Township, Pa, died January 21, 2020 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, PA, where she was a patient since Christmas day, 2019. The family offers a special thank you to the very caring staff at St Luke's Hospital.
Born March 14, 1938 in Mount Bethel, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Floyd and Ethel (Pensyl) Weidman.
Helen attended Bangor High School with the class of 1956 and graduated from the American School, Chicago, IL.
A member of the Unite International Ladies Garment Union, Helen worked in various blouse factories: Portand Novelty, Lisa Marie Sportswear for 15 years, Arts Toy in Easton for 17 years, and was last employed with Artistic Toy in Allentown, PA for 5 years until retirement Dec. 2, 2010.
Helen was a member of AARP and the Wilson Borough Lions Club.
Helen enjoyed playing Bingo, doing craft work, cooking, entertaining, dancing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her fiance' Floyd E. Haas, with whom she resided; a son, Robert J. Haring and his wife, Toni of Forks Township, two daughters, Debra Tucker-Frank and her husband Stephen of Pohatcong Township, NJ and Barbara J. Haring-Fink of Glendon, Pa.; four grandchildren, Edward Tucker, Jordan and Blake Haring and Briana Haring-Fink; a brother, Floyd R. Weidman of Bangor and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Doris June Evans and a brother, Eugene Weidman both died earlier.
Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. www.noto-wynkoop.com. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be Forks Cemetery, 4500 Sullivan Trail, (Forks Township) Stockertown, Pa.
