Helen K Jones

Helen K. Jones, 95, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, died January 7, 2023.

Born June 19, 1927 in Chelsea, Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Bardisbanian) Krikorian.

Helen was a former kindergarten teacher in Massachusetts, California and Hawaii.

Helen edited and published a memoir of her uncle's titled "Lost In The Garden Of Eden" detailing his youth in a poverty-stricken Armenian community in the beginning of the 20th century. She also enjoyed painting, playing the piano, was a voracious reader of biographies as well as fiction and always had a smile and a kind word for anyone she encountered.
Her husband, Ralph James Jones died earlier.

Helen is survived by sons Ralph G. of Phillipsburg, NJ, Robert of Honolulu, HI and Michael of Pahoa, HI. A brother Paul and two sisters, Dorothy Kazanjian and Mary Weinheimer all died earlier.
