Henry H. Loebsack, Jr, 74, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Thursday, July 2, 2013 in St. Luke's Hosptial - Warren Campus, Phillipsburg.

Born June 13, 1939 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Henry H. and Florence Eldridge Loebsack.

He was an Army veteran. He worked most of his life in the shipping and receiving of Ingersoll-Rand Co., Philliipsburg, retiring in 2001. Memberships: He was a member of the Y.M.I.A, the Italian American Pleasure Club and the Phillipsburg Fire Co. Number 1, all in Phillipsburg; the Rice Ebner Post of Easton, Citizen Hose and Safety First Fire and Companies and Liberty Hose and the Maennerchor, all in Easton.

Survivors include his wife, the former Sarah J. "Sally" Mullikin, of Easton; a daughter, Michelle Slater and her husband, Joseph, of Easton; five sisters, Gladys Wismer, of Milford, NJ, Marlene Nunn of Great Meadows, NJ, Shirley Weidner and Joyce Brobst, both of Williams Township, Pa.; two grandchildren, Tyler and Austin Slater and a granddaughter, Isabella Rupert-Slater. Five brothers, Richard, Charles, George, James and Donald, and three sisters, Thelma Wlazekck, Orvetta Wismer and Bruna Bowers, all died earlier. Having been separated from his wife for many years, Henry enjoyed the companionship of his long-time friend, Kay Reigle and her children, Jason Burger, Sr, Jessica Pursell, Russell Pursell and his wife Nicole, her grandchildren, Jason Burger, Jr, Aden Burger and Russell Steven Pursell.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township, Pa.
