Irvin Wayne Ball, Sr.

Irvin "Irv" Wayne Ball, Sr, 76, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died May 14, 2025.

Born June 23, 1948 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Ruth Lydia (Sube) Ball.

Irv retired from Jefferson Smurfit Co. in Frenchtown, NJ where he worked in the shipping and receiving department

Irv and his wife, the former Katheryn Melody Rogers observed their fifty-seventh wedding anniversary August 5, 2024.

Irv and his wife worked together bringing healing and hope to others through the First Fruits Ministry which God called them to. Irvin was a seeker, lover and teacher of God's word. He loved his wife and best friend for over 60 years. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter Emma. For fun, he enjoyed when his sons would visit him and take him for a ride and hangout. Through the years, Irv loved and had many classic cars, his last project was a 1964 step side pickup truck which he enjoyed driving.

In addition to his wife, Irv is survived by two sons, Irvin, Jr. and Lonnie; a daughter, Halli Gudzinas and her husband James; a grandson, Joseph McDevitt; two granddaughters, Taylor L. Gudzinas, Berlynn K. Miczulski and her husband Jonathan; great-granddaughter, Emma L. Miczulski and a sister, Sandra C. Minchin. A brother Kenneth and his wife Charlene and a brother Clinton H. Ball and his wife Rose all died earlier.

Graveside services will be held 1:15 pm, Saturday in the St. James Lutheran Cemetery, 1213 Rt 22, Greenwich Township, NJ.
