James E. Moore, Jr., 77, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Monday, July 24, 2017 in Easton Hospital.
Born January 3, 1940 in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late James E. Moore, Sr. and Ruth F. (Bullock) Moore.
He was a Navy veteran.
He was an electrician for Ingersoll-Rand, Phillipsburg until his retirement. He also worked at Frenchtown Porcelain.
He was a member of Phillipsburg Fire Co. Number 1; VFW Post 0415; Garden State Chapter NJ - DESA; Navy Nuclear Weapons Association; Destroyer-Escort Sailors Association and was a former member of the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, the former Kay Duckworth; a son, James E. Moore, III and a daughter, Carol Anne Moore; a brother, Richard and two sisters, Caroline Maddock and Judith Moore. A sister, Joan Spieles died earlier.
At Jim's request, there will be no services. Interment will be in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Pa.
