Jean “Jeannie” Marie Casey-Wood, 66, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, died Friday, June 30, 2017 in Bethlehem, Pa.
Born June 15, 1951 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of Helen G. (Svachak) Casey of Lopatcong Township and the late William J. Casey, Sr.
Jeannie was a warehouse manager for Medico International in Allentown, Pa. She formerly worked as a production planner for Ingersoll-Rand Cameron Pump Division, Phillipsburg, NJ and for the company’s Gateshead, England facility. She was also a member of the Ingersoll-Rand Ski Club. She was also a past chairperson and volunteer of the company’s kiddies Christmas party for many years.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg where she was a member of the church's Adoration Society.
Jeannie loved cooking, gardening and hiking and liked adventurous activities like skydiving and hot air balloon rides.
Survivors include her husband, Michael J. Wood; her son, Brett M. Casey and his wife, Danielle; five brothers, William J. Casey, Jr. and his wife, Barbara; Charles E. Casey and his partner, Awilda Mora, Joseph P. Casey, Thomas A. Casey, Richard P. Casey and his wife, Charlene; five sisters, Patricia A. Rice and her husband Dr. Robert Rice, Helen E. Giammarinaro, Mary E. Casey, Veronica B. George and her husband, Richard, Ann Marie Flurer and her husband Douglas; many nieces and nephews and her beloved Westie, Mattie.
Visitation will be held 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ, and again from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Friday in the church, 426 South Main St, Phillipsburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday. Burial will be private.
