Jennie Bartolotta, 91, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, New Jersey and Reese Michigan, died early Friday morning, June 10, 2016 in the Golden Living Community in Phoenixville, PA. The former Giovanina "Jennie" Ninfo was born September 27, 1924 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, daughter of the late Anthony and Nina (Filletto) Ninfo. She was a graduate of St. Phillip & St. James Catholic High School. On April 19, 1947 she was married to Samuel Bartolotta in the St. Phillip & St. James Roman Catholic Church in Phillipsburg. He predeceased her June 24, 1973. Jennie was a homemaker most of her life and lived in Phillipsburg until 1998 when she moved to Reese to be near her daughter, Neva Struthers. In November of 2013 she then moved to the Mont Clare, PA to make her home with her son, Samuel. Jennie was a former member of the St. Phillip & St. James Roman Catholic Church for over seventy years, the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Reese since 1998 and a life member of the Catholic Daughters. Surviving are her two sons, Salvatore Bartolotta and his wife Ann of Exton, PA; and Samuel Bartolotta of Mont Clare, PA; three grandchildren, Christina Tucker-Struthers and Michael Struthers, both of Reese, MI; and Matthew Bartolotta of Exton, PA; two great-granddaughters, Kennedi and Quinn Tucker, her son-in-law, Rich Struthers of Reese, MI; and many nieces, nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Jennie was predeceased by her daughter, Neva Struthers, January 7, 2013, and her two brothers and sister-in-law, Anthony and Samuel and Marie Ninfo. The Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 in the St. Phillip & St. James Roman Catholic Church, 426 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. The Rev. Tom Ganley be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery in Greenwich Township. Jennie's family will receive friends at the church from from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the Liturgy.
