Joan M (Clymer) Allen

Joan M. Allen, 81, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died November 21, 2021.

Born April 2, 1940 in Easton, PA, Joan was a daughter of the late Raymond. F and Frances (Bernhardt) Clymer.

Joan graduated Phillipsburg High School, Class of 1958, where she played trombone in the band.  She was a member of River of Life Presbyterian Church, Phillipsburg where she volunteered in the kitchen and helped with the clothing drives.

Her husband, the late Kenneth E. Allen died February 20, 2011.

Survivors include a brother Robert Clymer and his wife Carol of Phillipsburg NJ; a son Kenneth R. Allen and his wife Brenda of Phillipsburg; a daughter Darlene Moll and her husband Lloyd of Beatrice, Nebraska; grandchildren are Vicky Herrera, Scott Adam, David and Ashley Herscap and Jolene and Thomas Soliday; great-grandchildren Emmanuelle Ramos, Jayda Juarez, Julio Herrera, Maya Herrera, Tyler and Austi Shupe; great-great grandchildren Tasha, Hannah, Rose, Seth and Addison Adam, Macy and Miki, Madison, Kyrie, Phoenix, Atreyu and Damien Herscap

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Services will be held 3:30 p.m. Saturday in River of Life Presbyterian Church, 445 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donation to the church.
