Joan Harriet (Strollo) Dabour

Joan Harriet Dabour, of Bethlehem Township, PA, formerly of East Islip, NY, peacefully passed away on November 3, 2023, with her loving family by her side. She was 93 years-old.

Born September 17, 1930 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Harriet (Elkins) Strollo.

Joan retired from NY Telephone, where she worked for over thirty years.

Joan is survived by two sons, David of Greenwich Township, NJ and Craig Dabour of Easton, PA; a cherished daughter-in-law Dale, wife of David; two granddaughters, Julie Tanhauser and her husband Brian and Allison Dabour; two great-grandchildren, Abby and Ryland Tanhauser. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry.

Joan's life was a testament to love and devotion, with a passion for sewing and reading that she shared with those around her. Her warm and welcoming presence made every family gathering a special occasion. Joan's legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.

Joan Dabour's love and kindness will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Her memory will continue to bring comfort and inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
