John L Berger

John L. Berger, 77, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died August 3, 2020.

Born August 28, 1942 in Stewartsville, NJ, he was a son of the late Ronald and Freda (Wolf) Berger.

John was a farmer most of his life and worked at Durling Farms in Whitehouse, NJ as a maintenance supervisor.

He enjoyed watching western movies and was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

Survivors include two sons, John L. Jr. and wife Kathryn (Schofield) of Benton, TN and
Brian A. of Sturgis, South Dakota; four daugthers, Sarah L., Bonnie L. and Rebecca F. all of Phillipsburg and Debbie A. Hintze and husband David of Middleburg, FL; two brothers, Ronald and his wife Sonja of Gate City, VA and Lewis of Grapevine, TX and a sister, Margaret Evans of St. Petersburg, FL; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
