Joseph A. Hopkins, Sr., 43 of Phillipsburg died Wed., Aug. 6, 2014.
He was the son of the late Frederick Hopkins and Lucille Savi Hopkins.
He was employed by Americold Logistics, Allentown, PA.
Joe enjoyed playing his guitar his whole life which started after receiving a free lesson as a small child. His gift of music was one of his most defining talents that never faded.
Survived by his grandmother, Ruth Brown of Pittston, PA; his beautiful children who include a son, Joseph A. Jr.; three daughters, Ashley Putz, Darian and Paige Hopkins, all of Phillipsburg; his only brother Thomas E. of Manville, NJ; and the most recent addition to his family, a granddaughter Kimberly Hagensen; godparents aunt and uncle Paula and Gary C. Conley; cousins Michele Savi-O’Brien and Gary M. Conley; and nephews; along with many family members, extended family and close friends
Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, August 16th, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg.
