Joseph Stefano

Joseph "Joe" Stefano, 48, of Pohatcong Township, NJ, died December 28, 2023.

Born August 23, 1975 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late Anthony S. and Sandra J. (Marsh) Stefano.

Joe was a heavy general laborer with the Laborer's International Union of North America, Local 472, Newark, NJ and worked at Schifano Construction Corp. in Middlesex, NJ.

He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

He was a loving father who gave everything for his children, and a hard worker who loved his crew. In his spare time he enjoyed working out, boxing, driving his muscle cars and riding his motorcycles. He was a good friend with a big heart and the life of the party. He will be missed by many!

Joe is survived by a son, Derek S. Stefano and a daughter, Giada Stefano; two brothers, Anthony "AJ" Stefano and Nicholas Stefano.

Visitation and services will be held 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, January 11, 2024, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. (www.noto-wynkoop.com) Burial will be in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
