Joshua A Simons

Joshua "Josh" A. Simons, 46, of Easton, PA, died April 23, 2023.

Born September 22, 1976 in Easton, he was a son of Sherry (Laughlin) Wilmott of Mountain Top, PA and the late Charles D. Simons.

Josh was a mechanic and driver at Big Woody's in Forks Township, PA.

After a hard fought battle Joshua Simons passed away April 23, 2023. He was the most selfless person you could ever meet. Was always putting the needs of others including strangers before himself. He was an amazing father and even took on the parental role to everyone’s children “Uncle Josh”. He was also a die-hard Eagles fan. If he wasn’t at the beach he was found at the stadium, “Fly Eagles Fly”. Naturally the best mechanic in all of PA and everyone knew to call him for any mechanical questions. He might have missed his calling but definitely should’ve been a comedian the way he could make you laugh. He loved his family and fiancé more than you will ever know and he could always be that friend to count on no matter the circumstances. Josh will truly be missed by family, friends, coworkers and many more. May he rest in Maryland Paradise.

In addition to his mother, Josh is survived by his fiancé, Jakeya D. High; three sons, Joshua J., Jordan D.A. and Josiah Simons; two daughters, Joselynn and Alexis Simons and a step-daughter, Cashea D. High-Chapman; two sisters, Sherry Simons of Phillipsburg and Shannan Simons of Bethlehem, PA, his step-father, Walter Wilmott and a grandson, Maalik McKoy-Cohen, Jr.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to Noon on Saturday and services will begin at Noon in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. www.noto-wynkoop.com.
