Obituary

Joy Darlene Hornbaker, 57, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died October 11, 2022.

Born July 9, 1965 in Raritan Township, NJ, Joy was a daughter of Billie Joann (Back) Dalrymple of Saylorsburg, PA and the late Eugene Smith, Jr.

Joy was in the janitorial services at the Northampton County Courthouse, Easton, PA. She also worked for Keystone Cleaning Services, Saylorsburg, where she provided services for St. Luke's Medical Offices in Phillipsburg.

In addition to her mother, Joy is survived by a son, Jonathan and his wife Bradi of Phillipsburg; two daughters, Tasha and Tiffany Hornbaker, both of Phillipsburg; a brother, Robert E. Smith and his wife Shirley of Stroudsburg, PA and a sister, Sonia Hernandez of Phillipsburg; grandchildren Lyric and Vizjon Baines, Lonny Izak, Peter, Adrianna and Mya Sokoloski and Charlene and Parker Hornbaker, as well as Joy's companion, Daniel Jennings. A brother, Joseph, died earlier.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00 to 5:00, Thursday, Oct. 20th at the Hampton Inn, 16 Frontage Drive, Clinton, NJ.
