Joyce Torcivia Obituary
Joyce E. Torcivia, 77, formerly of Lopatcong Township, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in Manor Care, Palmer Township, PA.
Born May 15, 1933 in Phillipsburg, Joyce was a daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Heller Graner.
She worked at the former Bock Plastics, Phillipsburg; Transogram, Easton and Piazza’s, Lopatcong Township.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
Her husband, the late Paul Torcivia, Jr, died January 29, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Jack M. and his wife, Penny, of Lower Nazareth Township, Pa; two daughters, Sherri E. of Phillipsburg and Terry L. and her husband, Walt, of Hampton, VA; four grandchildren, John, Travis and Tyler Torcivia and Cody Snyder; a sister, Diane Davis, of Easton, Pa.
Two sons, Guy Lewis and Paul Thomas, and four brothers, George, Frank, Emmett and Herb, and a sister, Betty Wean, all died earlier.
Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m., Friday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg. Services will begin 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ. Online condolences may be submitted by visiting www.noto-wynkoop.com.
