Judith L. (Werner) Beers

Judith L. Beers, 76, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, died July 2, 2022.

Born June 2, 1946 in Washington, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth N. and Helen C. (Snyder) Werner.

Judith was a waitress and a cook at the former Garden State Truck Plaza in Bloomsbury, NJ many years ago. She also worked at the former Garden Nursing Home as Activities Director. She worked both jobs back to back for several years.

She was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Washington, NJ where she served as a Sunday School teacher. She also served on the Washington Township Fire Department's Ladies Auxiliary.

Her husband, the late Edgar F. Beers, Sr. died April 12, 2008.

She is survived by two sons, Edgar "Ed" Beers, Jr. and his wife Holly of Phillipsburg and Robert and his wife Jennie of Wellsboro, Pa; a sister, Esther Wilhelm of Spring Hill, Fl; four grandchildren, Ryan and Brandi Beers, Roberta Ehrlitz and Jessie Martin and five great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Kenneth, Jr, Floyd, Sr and Albert Sr. all died earlier.

A memorial service is planned for in conjunction with the Snyder family reunion, Noon, Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Oxford Furnace Lake pavilion, Oxford, NJ. All of Judith's friends are invited to attend.
