June A (Mondeau) Jones

June A. Jones, 91, of Phillipsburg, died July 19, 2022.

Born August 31, 1930 in Scranton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Eleanor (Bulford) Mondeau.

Her husband, the late Willard H. Jones died in 1998.

June waitressed at several area diners years ago as well as at the Ingersoll-Rand executive dining room in Phillipsburg. Later, she worked for many years in the marketing and sales department at McGinley Mills, Phillipsburg.

Years ago, she participated in a women's bowling league at Warren Lanes in Phillipsburg. June was a talented crocheter, making many afghans and baby gifts for family and friends.

Survivors include a son, Alan Jones and his wife Marilyn of Alpha, NJ; two daughters, Carol Getz and her husband Joseph of Pennsauken, NJ and Lori Miller and her husband David of Wilson Borough, PA; grandchildren Frank Nye, Marcus Jones, Allison, Teresa and Madilyn Miller; great-grandchildren, Bella and Owen Nye. She was step-grandmother to Christopher Getz and Susan Hoffner; and step-great grandmother to Bryana, Tyler, John, Brooklynn, and Katie. Two brothers Robert Jr. and Jerry Mondeau and a sister, Lorraine Boyer all died earlier.

Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 am, Monday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. (www.noto-wynkoop.com). A short period of reflection and remembrance of June's life will begin at 11:30 am, followed by burial in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township.
