Katherine D'Angelo Adams Obituary

Katherine M. D’Angelo Adams, affectionately known to many as “Nain”, 87, of Lower Nazareth Township, formerly of Easton, died Thursday, March 17, 2011, in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg, Bethlehem Pa.
 
Born May 31, 1923 in Bangor, Pa, Katherine was a daughter of the late Robert D. and Leah Shiffer Jones.
 
Katherine and her husband, the late Frank “Cheech” D’Angelo, owned and operated the former Eddyside Bar and Grill, now the Young Republicans Club, on North Delaware Drive, Easton. She later waitressed and bar tended at the former Circlion Restaurant and Silver Dollar Café, Easton.
 
She was a former member of the First United Church of Christ, Easton.
 
Katherine was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
 
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie L. Creazzo, and her companion, Ken Lovett, of Lower Nazareth Township; a son, Louis M. D’Angelo, and his wife, Bonnie, of Danielsville, Pa; a brother, Robert F. Jones of Houston, Texas; a sister, Elizabeth G. Mertz, of Palmer Township; four grandchildren; Jesse D’Angelo and his wife, Tami, Joshua D’Angelo, Ryan M. Creazzo and his wife, Tasha and Cory M. Creazzo, and his girlfriend, Alicia Searock; four great-grandchildren, Christian, Ryan and Juliana D’Angelo and Lorenzo Louis Creazzo; and many nieces and nephews.
 
She was pre-deceased by a sister, Blodwyn Mae Staples, a brother, Elwood D. Jones, and a son-in-law, Louis Creazzo, Jr.
 
Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, in St. John’s Cemetery, Broadway and South 6th St, Bangor, Pa. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg, is handling the arrangements.
