Lauren F. Walz, a beloved resident of White Township, NJ, passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 77.
She was born on April 27, 1946, in the city of Hackensack, NJ, as the cherished daughter of the late Victor M. and Vivian (Anderson) Fraysse.
Lauren was the proud owner of The Red Wolfe Inn nestled on Route 519 in White Township, NJ. Lauren, along with her husband established the Warren County staple in 1986. Lauren’s warmth and passion for the culinary arts were evident to all who have dined in the establishment. In addition to her professional pursuits, Lauren was a devoted mother and a nurturing matriarch to her family.
Lauren is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudolph Walz, III, who departed this world on December 9, 2017, her daughter, Dawn Walz Papke, who passed away on January 1, 2020 and her Grandson, Drew Papke, who passed away on March 10, 2019.
She is survived by her children, Kirstie Walz Carey, Rudy Walz, and Dayne Walz. Lauren's legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Tyler Papke, Kyle Papke, Dayne Walz Jr., Brianna Carey Drake, Jimmie Carey, Trenadie Walz, and six great-grandchildren.
Her brother, Michael Fraysse, along with his family, remains to carry forward her memory.
