Lawrence A Barker

Lawrence A. "Larry" Barker, 71, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, September 6, 2012 in St. Luke's Hospital - Warren Campus, Phillipsburg.

He was the only son of the late Albert L. and Leila Seales Barker.

Larry was a butcher for 45 years, and worked at Rush's Meat Market, Lopatcong Township and Rossini's in Franklin Township, NJ.

He was an Air Force veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Scott and Todd, both of Phillipsburg; two daughters, Shawn VanWhy, of Phillipsburg and Kelly Barker, of East Stroudsburg, PA; two sisters, Judith Hutchison of Phillipsburg and Jeanette Paulus, and her husband, John, of Pohatcong Township; six grandchildren, Ambrey, Steven, Jeffery and Jennifer VanWhy, Guy Michaels and Joshua Barker; several nieces and nephews, and his former wife and close friend, Dorothy Weaver, of Phillipsburg.

A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg, NJ. Online condolences may be submitted at www.noto-wynkoop.com.
