Lena Marcantoni, 84, of West Haven, Connecticut, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ. died Monday, May 20, 2014 in Milford, Conn.
Born January 14, 1930 in Alpha, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Marino and Adelina Tavini Olivi.
She was an assembly line worker at the former Nytronics in Alpha, NJ and ITT of Palmer Township.
Her husband, the late Frank Marcantoni, died April 19, 2000.
Survivors include a daughter, Marla McGrath and her husband, Michael of West Haven, CT; a granddaughter, Leigh Ann Hauer and her husband, Robert; a grandson, Robert McGrath and his wife, Kyle; two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Marley Hauer and two great-grandsons, Jeremiah and Ethan McGrath
She was predeceased by a son, Robert J. who was killed in action in South Vietnam in 1968; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rose and Michael Huzela and Nancy Olivi; two brothers and their wives, Sylvio and Julie and Frank and Lena and a brother Roosevelt (Teddy) and three nephews, Gary Olivi, Dennis Huzela and Randy Marcantoni.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:15 a.m., Friday, in St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, 426 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ. There will be no visitation period.
