Leon Frederick “Punkin” Eldridge, 68 formerly of Phillipsburg, passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 in Manor Care, Easton, PA.
Born December 3, 1951, he was a son of the late Leonard and Henrietta (Thorpe) Eldridge.
Leon attended Phillipsburg High School and was an avid fan of the Phillipsburg Stateliners. He was also a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, Philadelphia Eagles and NASCAR.
He was an active member of the Citizens Hose, Y.M.I.A., and East Lawn Fire Company.
Leon was a Foreman and loyal employee of Rapp Pallet Co., Easton, Pa. for over 40 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Eldridge of Allentown, Pa. and Shannon Burk and husband Matt of Brick, NJ, and Taylor Lichtman and husband Sam of Washington D.C. and two grandchildren; a sister Catherine Mae Noto and husband Joseph of N. Ft. Myers, FL; two brothers Leonard Eldridge and wife Darlene of Phillipsburg, NJ and Marshall Eldridge of Saylorsburg, Pa.; sister-in-law Vicki Eldridge of Bath, PA; nieces Tanya Garren and husband Patrick and Crystal Carr and husband Billy, who spent countless hours attending to his needs. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers Gerald and Fred.
A celebration of Leon's life will be held at a later date.
