Loretta M. Yanavok, 77, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, January 2, 2016 in her home.
Born September 4, 1938 in Easton, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Alberta (Hagerty) Snow.
Loretta formerly worked as a stock person for 15 years at Sears in Dover, NJ. She also worked at Wendy's in Phillipsburg for 5 years and at the Hunterdon Developmental Center in Clinton as a direct care giver.
She was a member of the Phillipsburg Alliance Church, Phillipsburg, where she was a former choir member and helped with Vacation Bible School, and children's church.
Her husband, the late Nathan Zacharias died in 1982.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph Zacharias and his wife, Bonnie, of Alpha, NJ, Zachary Zacharias of Phillipsburg, NJ and David Shrope of Gatesville,Texas; two daughters, Loretta Taylor and her husband, Christopher and Virginia Shrope, both of Phillipsburg; 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She also had 3 brothers, Ralph, Harvey and Barry. The family also wishes to acknowledge Loretta's two close friends, Manny Robles and John Morningway.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday in the Phillipsburg Alliance Church, 260 Lincoln St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Services will begin 5pm in the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Forks Church Cemetery, Forks, Township, Pa.
