Louis William Migliacci, 85, of Forks Township, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026.
Born February 7, 1941, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Dominick and Christine (Marrazzo) Migliacci.
Louis honorably served his country as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, stationed in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
To the world he was known affectionately as "Mr. Mig”. A beloved and popular teacher at Jefferson Township High School, in Oak Ridge , NJ, where generations of students were touched by his kindness, humor.
Louis is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, the former Nancy Parnell; a brother William Migliacci, of Simi Valley, California. Three children, Louis Migliacci Jr. and his wife Dawn, Lisa Migliacci-Corte and her husband, William, and Kevin Migliacci and his wife, Danielle, as well as eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Rachel, Ashley, Dalton, Ali, Becca, Rylie and Brendan who will forever miss their “Pop-Pop”. His sister, Rose Stancheski died earlier.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, May 6, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ.(www.noto-wynkoop.com)
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 7th, in St. Mary Catholic Church, 830 Fifth Ave, Alpha, NJ. Military Honors will follow the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Louis’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
