Maria S. Famularo, 89, of Phillipsburg, died June 9, 2011 in the Lopatcong Center, Lopatcong Township, NJ.
Born March 2, 1922 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria Santa Glorioso Patti.
She was a member of Ss. Philip and James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.
Maria was a machine operator for the former Chipman and Washington Knitting Mills, both in Easton. She also formerly owned and operated Maria’s Beauty Salon in Phillipsburg.
Her husband, the late Giacomo Famularo, died July 13, 1983.
Survivors include a brother, John Patti, of Macungie, Pa; nieces and nephews. Six brothers, Joseph, Salvatore, Samuel, Theodore, Nicholas and Charles, and two sisters, Frances Colasurdo and Rose Patti, all died earlier.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m. Monday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, Phillipsburg. Services will begin 10 a.m. Burial will be in Ss. Philip and James Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
