Mary A (King) Herbert

Mary A. Herbert, 92, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, died January 14, 2022.
Born April 20, 1929 in Bethlehem, PA, she was a daughter of the late James M. and Sadie (Raub) King.

Mary attended Easton High School and had worked for 15 years at Country Miss in Forks Township, PA.
She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Mary was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her life and caring for her family.

Her husband, James J. Herbert died August 7, 2008.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas and his wife, Ann Yovicsin of Lower Mt. Bethel Township, PA and Mark and his wife Debra of Pohatcong Township, NJ; a daughter Marianne Herbert of Belle Mead, NJ, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A son, James J. Herbert, Jr., a sister, Margaret Laughman and a brother, James King all died earlier.

Services are private for the family. Burial will be in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
