MaryAnn McBride, 76, of Holland Township, New Jersey, died Thursday, June 30, 2016 with her family by her side.
Born February 2, 1940 in the Riegelsville section of Pohatcong Township, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Schrough) Walters.
MaryAnn formerly worked as an assembler at both Aries in Frenchtown, New Jersey and Gunnar Braizing in Little York, New Jersey and also did in-home child care for many years, but her family remembers her greatest work was that of being a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Her family meant the world to her.
MaryAnn was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riegelsville, Pennsylvania. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, was a avid NASCAR fan. Her two favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt and Tony Stewart.
MaryAnn and her husband, Kenneth R. McBride observed their fifty-sixth wedding anniversary August 8th.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Wayne R. and his wife, Antoinette of Chester, New Hampshire and Dean M. and his wife Andrea L. of Pohatcong Township, New Jersey; a sister, Dorothy Shire and her husband Charles of Holland Township and five grandchildren, Robert, Rebekka, Rachel, Dean, Jr., and Marshall McBride.
A service of remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 305 Delaware Rd, Riegelsville, PA.
