Mary Ann E. “Randie” (Casey) Zapko, 71 of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at the Cross Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Dunedin, Florida.

Born March 6, 1950 in Easton, PA, Randie was the oldest child of the late Jack E. and Mary T. (Doran) Casey who had resided in Glendon, PA.

Randie was a 1968 graduate of Notre Dame High School (Green Pond) and attended Northampton Community College, both in Bethlehem Township, PA.

Randie began her business career at Weis Florist and the former Lehigh Foundry, now Victaulic both in Easton, PA, and Preston Trucking Company in Phillipsburg, NJ. It was there that she met the love of her life, James M. Zapko, Sr. Randie and Jim were married 40 years ago on August 23rd. They moved to Palm Harbor, Florida in 1989, where Randie was employed by Raymond James Financial, retiring in 2013 after 20 years.

Randie loved to sing along with the Oldies, and was an animal lover, having several canine and feline companions. Randie was also a prolific blood donor, donating more than 15 gallons over the years.

In addition to her husband, Randie is survived by her son, James M. Zapko, Jr. of Dunedin Florida; a brother John E (Jack) Casey and his wife Linda of Hampton, New Hampshire; three sisters, Veronica A. (Ronnie) Casey-Shaffer and her companion Dale King of Glendon, Loretta C. Lester and her husband Don of Williams Township, PA and Loraine A. Casey of Orefield, PA. She is also survived by nieces Casey L. (Cassandra) Shaffer-Permenter and her husband Craig of Dickinson, Texas and Mary L. Casey and her fiancé Derek Pinchbeck of Baltimore, Maryland; nephews Andrew J. Lester and his wife Jessica of Williams Township, Adam J. Lester and his companion Shelly Cantrel of Bethlehem, PA and Chad E. Smith and his girlfriend Carol Galati of Orefield; one great niece, Brennan Elizabeth Lester.

She was predeceased by a stepdaughter, Stephanie A. Workman, and step-son-in-law Nathan Workman.

There will be no services at this time.  A memorial service may be held at a later date.
