MaryJane (Clewell) Vaughn

MaryJane Vaughn, 101, of Greenwich Township, NJ, died Sunday, April 17, 2016 in the Country Arch Care Center, Pittstown, New Jersey.

Born November 1, 1914 in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Edna Sarley Clewell.

MaryJane was an assembly line worker at the former American Can Co., Washington, NJ.

She was a former member of the First Lutheran Church, Stewartsville.

Her husband, Robert Vaughn died in December of 1981.

Survivors: MaryJane is survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews, including Terry Kloiber and her son, Stephen of Pen Argyl, Pa.

A daughter, Barbara died in 1941.

Her sisters, Gertrude, Emily, Hazel, Pat, Ann and Tina and brothers, Robert, Carl, William and Jack all died earlier.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania. Online condolences may be submitted by visiting www.noto-wynkoop.com.
