Nancy Lee Hoadley, 69, of Phillipsburg, died Saturday, January 12, 2013, in St. Luke’s Hospital – Warren Campus.
Born February 14, 1943, she was a daughter of the former Elizabeth “Betty” Pursel Purdy and the late John Purdy.
She graduated Phillipsburg High School in 1960.
Nancy worked many years as a teacher’s aide for the Kids at Work Day Care Center, Phillipsburg.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Greenwich Township, NJ. She was also a member of the Huntington Volunteer Fire Company Association; she was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, and Dale Earnhardt, Jr, and she loved to golf and fish.
Nancy and her husband, Robert J. “Bink” Hoadley observed their forty-sixth wedding anniversary April 2nd.
In addition to her mother and husband, Nancy is survived by two sons, Robert J. Jr and John, both at home; two sisters, Jackie Finocchio and her husband, Joseph, of Bethlehem Township, PA and Jill Purdy, of Pohatcong Township, NJ, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. Services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Online condolences may be submitted by visiting www.noto-wynkoop.com.
