Natalie Piazza Obituary

Natalie R. Piazza, 89, of Phillipsburg, N.J. died December 9, 2020.

 

Born September 7, 1931 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Nancy (Attinello) Stefano.

 

She was a life-long member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg where she was a greeter for many years. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Warren.

 

Natalie was a sales clerk and worked at various stores in Phillipsburg, including Orr's of Warren.

 

Her husband of 48 years, the late Christopher (Chris) Piazza died Dec. 14, 2003.

 

Natalie is survived by her daughter, Josephine Kavcak and her husband Edward of Forks Township, Pa.; grandsons, Christopher and his wife Kimberly of Harmony Township and Brian of Easton; three great-granddaughters, Madison, Juliana and Alexis; sister-in-law Joan Stefano of Phillipsburg; brother-in-law James Piazza and his wife Jean of Phillipsburg, and many nieces and nephews whom she adored. Her brothers Joseph, Anthony, Paul, Salvatore, John, and Michael, and a sister Mary Stasak all died earlier.

 

She will always be remembered for her love of God and the Church, her Love for music and dancing and for her warm and contagious smile. She loved her sweets and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

 

The family would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at Phillipsburg Care Center for the care and compassion shown to Natalie especially during the pandemic.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday in St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, 426 S. Main St, Phillipsburg. Masks must be worn at all times. The Mass will also be available on  livestream here.

 

Natalie will be laid to rest with her husband at Holy Apostle Mausoleum, Greenwich Township, N.J.
