Nina A (John) Todaro

Nina A. Todaro, 96, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Bethlehem, PA.

Born April 7, 1920 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Sarah (Crisofi) John.

Nina worked many years as a seamstress in the Phillipsburg-Easton area.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, NJ and was a member of the Over-Fifties club of the church. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughter’s of the America’s, Court Warren.

Her husband of 47 years, Anthony J. Todaro died June 23, 1995.

Survivors include her son, Anthony J. Todaro, Jr. and his wife, Judy, of Bethlehem, PA; a grandson, Michael and his wife, Tanya and their children, Riley, Madigan, Leighton and Cooper; a brother, Michael Giovanni and a sister, Lucy Mellinger. Three brothers, Mario Giovanni and Nuncio and Salvatore John and two sisters, Angelina John and Josephine Ehly all died earlier.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m., Friday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. in the church, 426 S. Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Online condolences: www.noto-wynkoop.com.
