Olive E. Levisay, 91, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
Born June 4, 1926 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Catherine E. (Kunkle) Smith.
Olive previously worked at M.C. Riccardi, Alpha, NJ and the former Warren Hospital on Wilbur Avenue in Phillipsburg. She was also a long-time foster parent. She, without prejudice and the for the betterment of the Town of Phillipsburg and it's people, freely gave of her time to any child that needed help.
Olive and her husband, H. Floyd Levisay observed their 60th wedding anniversary June 9th.
In addition to her husband, Olive is survived by her children, Steven and his partner and companion, Carolyn Stavoy of Williamsport, Pa, Roy and his wife Michele of Alpha, NJ, June Gable and her husband Joseph of Easton, Pa, and Barbara and her finance, Dave Korp of Lower Mt. Bethel Township, Pa; six grandchildren, Chauncey, Samantha, Janelle, Emila and Ingrid Levisay and Aaron Diehl and seven great-grandchildren. Olive was previously deceased by two brothers, Willard and Henry "Hank" Smith and two sisters, Ruth Fehr and Katherine "Kate" Brown.
A visitation period will begin 10:00 a.m. Thursday, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St, Phillipsburg. Inurnment will follow the services in Fairmount Cemetery, Philliipsburg.
