Pauline F (Cuvo) Raffaele

Pauline F. Raffaele, 84, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed peacefully, December 25, 2022 with family by her side.

Born June 26, 1938 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Benedict and Antoinette (Calafiore) Cuvo.

Pauline was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

She formerly worked as a ribbon winder and cutter for McGinley Mills in Phillipsburg; was a lunch room worker at Phillipsburg High School; was an in-home caregiver and worked for Abilities in Phillipsburg.

Our Mother was the kindest person who had an infectious personality with the most loving heart. She could start a conversation with anyone. Only saw the good in everyone. She loved life to the fullest! Our beloved mother, God blessed us with an angel from Heaven. No more pain. You will be greatly missed by all. We love you mom!

Her husband of 35 years, the late Constantino "Conti" Raffaele died June 12, 1992.

Pauline is survived by two daughters, Antoinette Cicale and her husband David of Forks Township, PA and Janice Reppert and her husband Ralph of Lopatcong Township; four sons, Benedict "Ben" of Northwood, NH, Charles and his wife Terri of Pohatcong Township, NJ, Bryan of Phillipsburg and Thomas and his wife Angelique  of Williams Township, PA; a sister, Marie Bearse of Las Vegas, NV; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and she loved her nieces and nephews dearly. Pre-deceased by Two brothers, Joseph A. John Cuvo and Michael Marafioti, a sister Evelyn Worthington and daughter-in-law Bernice. 

Visitation will be held 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. www.noto-wynkoop.com. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Friday, in St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, 430 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine.

The family welcomes donations payable to Janice Reppert and sent in care of the funeral home, to be used towards a scholarship in Pauline's memory.
