Rebecca S (Saludo) Ilao

Rebecca S. Ilao, 77, of Phillipsburg, NJ, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 18, 2016.

Born September 11, 1938 in San Pablo, Philippines, she was one of 12 children of the late Martin Saludo and Esperanza Barrento Saludo.

She was a member of The Parkway Church of Christ, Allentown, Pa.

Rebecca will always be cherished and remembered as a young-spirited and loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to caring for her family.

She and her husband, Romeo T. Ilao observed their 48th wedding anniversary December 30, 2015.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Daniel of Lopatcong Township, NJ, Dino and his wife Marvina of Exton, PA and John of Phillipsburg; two daughters, Irma Martineau of Milford, NJ and Eden Tarpey and her husband, Edward of Vero Beach, FL; and two grandchildren, Jaiden Martineau and Sunshine Tarpey.

Visitations will be held 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
