Richard A Dehart, Sr.

Richard "Rich" A. Dehart, Sr., 77, of Phillipsburg, NJ, went peacefully to be with his Lord, June 7, 2025.

Born December 21, 1947 in Phillipsburg, NJ, Rich was a son of the late Marvin B. and Evelyn A. (Rice) Dehart.

He formerly worked at Ingersoll-Rand in Phillipsburg, Warren Lumber in Flemington, NJ and Hagerdon Geriatric Center in Glen Gardner, NJ and the Ann Klein Forensic Center in West Trenton, NJ prior to his retirement.

Rich loved camping with his family, riding around the campgrounds in golf carts, campfires and being with our camping family at Colonial Woods Family Camping Resort in Upper Black Eddy, PA.  He enjoyed family vacations, trips to Jim Thorpe, parties, picnics and just being together as a family. He was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and just loved life in general. 

Survivors include his wife of twenty-eight years, the former Robin Au; a son, Mark Miller and his wife Brittney of Bath, PA; two daughters, Erica Booth and her fiance Matthew Leslie, of Phillipsburg and Heather MacFarlane and her husband Jay of Peoria, AZ; a brother Glen of Nazareth; six grandchildren, Jamie, Logan and Giovanni Pacchiolli, Dereck Miller, and Luna and Maddox MacFarland and a great-grandson, Charlie Yankowy; his father and mother in law, Robert and Doris Au of Lopatcong Township, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.

A son, Richard "Richie" A. Dehart, II and two brothers, Robert and William all died earlier.

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. (www.noto-wynkoop.com). Services will be held 11:00 am, Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
