Robert George Young

Robert George Young, 75, of Alpha, NJ, died July 29, 2023.

Born March 19, 1948 in Easton, PA, he was a son of the late Calvin and Gladys (Sterner) Young.

Robert was a property maintenance worker for Harbor Group Management at various apartment complexes in Phillipsburg, Lopatcong and Alpha, NJ. He also enjoyed his work with Garden State Fireworks Co. of Millington, NJ and always looked forward to the fireworks displays in Washington, DC for the annual fourth of July ceremonies. Robert took pride in all the work he did.

Robert was a Sergeant in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Robert is survived by a brother, Preston Young and his wife Kathleen of Phillipsburg, NJ; a sister Bonnie Young of Easton, PA and two nephews and four nieces. A brother Calvin died earlier.

Everyone is invited to attend a graveside service with military honors for Robert,1:00 pm, Thursday, in Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Rd, Easton, PA 18045.
