Rose M (Morello) DeRenzis

Rose M. DeRenzis, 97, a long-time resident of the Heckman House in Phillipsburg, NJ, died November 9, 2021.

Born January 9,1924 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Castiglione) Morello.

She graduated from St. Philip & St James High School in 1941.

She was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

In her day Rose was an avid card player, she enjoyed baking with her sisters, taking trips to Atlantic City and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her husband of 37 years, William P. DeRenzis, Sr. died in 1985.

Survivors include a son William P. DeRenzis, Jr. (Bill) and his wife Ann of Riegelsville, PA and a daughter Pamela DeRenzis Arnett of San Antonio, TX; six grandchildren, Megan, Allison, Liam and Devin and his wife Jessica, Rebecca and Karissa and her partner Cynthia; three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Ruby and Pearl.

Three brothers, Salvatore, John and Joseph Morello and three sisters, Millie Castiglione, Catherine Piperata and Margaret Iacone all died earlier.

Visitation: 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Services will begin at 11:00 am. Burial will be in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ. (www.noto-wynkoop.com)
