Rose M. Moscotta, 94, of Philllipsburg, NJ, formerly of Alpha, NJ, died September 30, 2015.
Born June 26, 1921 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Dominick M. Frinzi, Sr, and Rosalie (Re) Frinzi.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alpha.
Rose worked for many years as a salesperson at the New York Italian Bakery in Phillipsburg and retired from her job at J.T. Baker Chemical Co as a shipping and receiving clerk.
Her husband, the late John H. Moscotta died October 7, 1962. John remained the love of her life throughout her long lifetime.
After the sudden passing of her husband, Rose dedicated her life to raising her children and caring for her family. She always believed that though they were separated early and suddenly in this life, that they would meet again in the hereafter, and finally be reunited again.
Rose was a kind and loving woman to all, family, friends and all people alike, she came to know throughout her long lifetime. She was a warm and caring person who always had a kind word for everyone. She always tried to put a smile on her face and tried to make everyone feel comfortable in her very quiet and humble way.
She complained little and tried to deal with all life's adversities in a proud and dignified manner. Her smiles and kindness will be greatly missed in this world especially by her daughter and son-in-law, and all her family, friends and neighbors.
Rose is survived by her daughter, Joanne Stark and her husband, Thomas, of East Stroudsburg, PA; two sisters, Elizabeth Mondok of Allentown, PA and Ann Neway of Harrisburg, PA. She also was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephew whom she cared about throughout her lifetime, and all who lovingly referred to her as "Rosie" or Aunt Rosie". A son, Michael T.
Moscotta, two brothers, Charles D. Frinzi, Jr. and Dominick M. "Mick" Frinzi and two sisters, Pauline Viscomi and Lena Avia all died earlier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 830 Fifth Avenue, Alpha, NJ. Burial will be in St. Philip and St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ. There will be no visitation.
