Rose A (Talotta) Ritz

Rose A. Ritz, 98, of Greenwich Township, NJ, died Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Born August 13, 1925 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Maria (Sinopli) Talotta.

Rose formerly worked for the Phillipsburg School District at Phillipsburg High School.

She was a member of St. Philip and St James Church and their Over-Fifties Club. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Warren and a volunteer at Warren Hospital for more than 40 years.

Her husband, Joseph Ritz died June 1, 2004.

Rose is survived by her son, Anthony J. Ritz of Hilton Head, SC; a daughter Pearl Ann Ritz Slutter of Middletown, DE; a grandson, Richard R. Slutter and his wife Heather of Houston, TX and a great-grandson, Richard H. Slutter. Rose's two brothers, Anthony and Ralph and two sisters, Marie Alercia and Catherine Volpe all died earlier.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Entombment will be in Holy Apostles Mausoleum, Greenwich Township, NJ.
