Scott Allen Bartholomew, 43, of Pohatcong Township, died Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at home.
Born April 10, 1968 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of Doris Still Bartholomew and the late Robert Bartholomew.
He graduated Phillipsburg High School in 1986. Scott attended Washington Employment Center of Abilities of North West Jersey, in Washington, NJ. He always wanted to work with animals. Scott enjoyed walking, fishing, bowling, playing with his two dogs, Roxy and Nicky. He enjoyed being with the social club at Abilities and spending time with his family, especially watching scary movies with his sister, Carol. In addition to being a long time Phillipsburg High School football fan, Scott participated in the Special Olympics at Camp Warren.
Scott was a member of, and enjoyed going to Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church, Greenwich Township, with is mother and sister, Penny.
In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by four sisters, Cathy and William Dinbokowitz, of Whitehall, PA; Patti and Gene Pambianchi and Penny and Jack Torcivia, both of Nazareth, PA; and Carol and Frank Stillo of Pohatcong Township; two brothers, Randy and Ricky, both at home; 17 nieces and nephews; 6 great nieces and 1 great nephew; a sister-in-law, Linda and a brother, Robert A. died earlier.
Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home 289 South Main St, Phillipsburg, and from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the church, 17 Greenwich Church Road, Greenwich Township. Funeral services will begin at 10:30, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
