Susan (Billheimer) Batts

Susan Billheimer Batts, 70, of Harmony Township, NJ, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

Born on October 23, 1945 in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late George L. Billheimer and Thelma Hollenbeck Billheimer.

Susan was a graduate of Liberty High School Class of 1963.  She was employed by Butler Manufacturing and NuCorp for approximately forty years.

Susan loved animals and gardening.  She was an experienced equestrian, painter, pilot, diver, and world traveler.

She is survived by her husband of almost five years, Charles ‘Chuck’ Nowalk; a nephew Scott Billheimer and his wife Tammy, and their children Alec and Bailey; a nephew Craig Billheimer and children Dalton and Justin.  Susan had six grandchildren, three boys and three girls. Her brother, Barry Billheimer died earlier.

A memorial service for family and friends will be private.  Donations in Susan’s memory can be made to your favorite animal-support organization.
