Thomas J Connolly

Thomas J. Connolly, 77, of Phillipsburg, NJ, formerly of Washington, NJ, died June 7, 2019 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, PA.

 

Born September 15, 1941 in Orange, NJ, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Rita (Coll) Connolly.

 

He was a machine operator at the former Willow Kota Co. in Kearny, NJ.

 

He was a former member and volunteer at St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, Hopatcong, NJ and and was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

 

 

Survivors include his daughter, Colleen Vazquez and her husband, Victor, of Phillipsburg, NJ, two sisters, Barbara Croker of Carteret, NJ and Mary Alenger (John) of Tom's River, NJ, and many nieces and nephews. A brother John and a sister, Patricia Keeler both died earlier.

 

Visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. www.noto-wynkoop.com. Funeral services will begin 9:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Philip and St. James R.C. Church, 426 S. Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. Burial will follow the Mass in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
