Timothy Wayne Brolsma

After a long and brave struggle with cancer, Timothy "Tim" Wayne Brolsma, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away at the age 65 on Monday, June 8, 2026 at St. Luke's Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg, NJ, surrounded by loved ones.

Tim is survived by his two children, Timothy Wayne II and Heidi Louise, and his partner Suzanne; a brother, Ted; a daughter-in-law, Jessica; and nephews Gary and Joshua, and his beloved grandson Timothy Wayne III. He is predeceased by his parents Orrie N. and Francis E. (VanDyke) Brolsma, as well as his brother William.

Born on May 20, 1961, Tim was born in Hackensack, NJ and grew up in Bergen County, NJ.

He was a talented artisan / stone mason by trade. and a proud, long-standing member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local Union No. 4, Fairfield, NJ.

As a passionate outdoorsman, Tim loved nature, fishing and hunting. He leaves behind memories of Christmas villages meticulously built, summer barbecues filled with laughter, and always waiting for the Jets’ next big win. If you knew Tim, we ask that you  drink a Single Barrel Jack neat in his honor and maybe tell a story or two of times gone by.

Tim had countless accomplishments, but the name and legacy he was proudest to be known by was Papa.
