Virginia C (Hudick) Comito

Virginia "Ginny" C. Comito, 85, of Palmer Township, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, died January 8, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Allentown, PA.

Born September 27, 1936 in Northampton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine "Kate" (Prutzanni) Hudick.

Ginny was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg, NJ

She was a former executive secretary for the Visiting Nurse Association of Easton.

After Ginny retired, her life was all about her grandchildren. She was an avid cruiser and loved taking her family with her. She loved relaxing with a good book, but was mostly known by everyone who knew her, for giving the best hugs ever.

Her husband, Dominic A. Comito died October 9, 2020

Survivors include a son Dominic A. Comito, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Forks Township, Pa.; two daughters, Christine Doerner and her husband Todd of Palmer Township, Pa. and Nancy Hefele and her husband Peter of Mt. Arlington, N.J.; five grandchildren, Jelissa Weston and her husband Bryan, Sadie Byles and her husband Aaron, Steven and Hanna Doerner and Peter Hefele II, and a great-grandson, Beau Thomas Weston; a brother-in-law and his wife, Anthony and Shirley Comito of Palmer Township, a nephew Gregory Comito and two nieces, Tonilynn Melhem and Terri Comito.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Thursday in St. Philip and St. James Church. Entombment will be in Holy Apostles Mausoleum, Greenwich Township, NJ. There will be no visitation hours.
