Ronald Leon Harper was born April 18, 1963 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was the son of the late Earl Harper and Mary Johnson Harper. He departed his earthly home on December 31, 2020, at this residence in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.

Ronald accepted the Lord as his savior at an early age. He attended Sunday School and church services throughout his youth. After graduating from high school, he entered the Army and served three years. He was discharged on July 29, 1987. He became a chef while in the Army and was a wonderful cook. He was famous for his homemade light rolls, known as "Ronald's Rolls."

Ronald was employed by three oil companies during his lifetime: Cooper Oil Company, Mitchell Supreme, and Liberty Oil Company in New Jersey.

He was a sweet, kind, loving, and caring person to everyone; always willing to help wherever he could. He loved to joke and be playful.

Ronald leaves to cherish fond memories: his wife, Brenda; one daughter, April Jones of New Jersey; one grandchild, Mahogany Robinson; his mother, Mary Harper; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Jones; one grandmother, Isabelle Johnson; four sisters, Yolanda Nash of Chester, Virginia, Samantha Harper of Stafford, Virginia, Sheila Austin (Wilbur) of Buckingham, Virginia, and Geraldine Anderson (Keith) of Pennsylvania; one brother, Julius Johnson (Patricia) of Bristol, Connecticut; three sisters-in-law, Pamela Jones of Virginia, and Gwendolyn Cromwell and Laura Jones, both of New Jersey; three brothers-in-law, Kevin Jones of New York, and Joseph Jones and Ardell "Jimmy" Austin, both of New Jersey; two half sisters-in-law; four uncles; eight aunts; and a host of cousins and friends

A Celebration of Ronald's life will be held 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the Lester Pfeffer American Legion Post, 429 S 16th St, Easton, PA.
